New pelican speedboat for antipoaching

Donate to this project

A new Pelican speedboat has been purchased and is on its way to the Zambezi River, Chewore, for use by ZPWMA Antipoaching Units and donated through Tashinga Initiative’s CITES MIKES project. The training of two Ranger Coxswains from Chewore has just been successfully completed and these Coxswain Rangers will have the responsibility of this new boat. A vital tool for Managers and Rangers based very remotely in Zimbabwe’s far north-east corner, this speedboat will play an important part in Zimbabwe’s effort to protect its northern bank from wildlife poaching incursions.

YOUR DONATION IN THIS PROJECT WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT:

Antipoaching operations and saving wildlife
