RECREATION FACILITY FOR FIELD BASED ANTIPOACHING RANGERS

Donate to this project

Two basketball courts, donated by USA Donor Peter Taylor and “Taylor Kidz”, have been established through Tashinga Initiative as a form of multi-use of the hard surfaced Parade Grounds at both ZAVARU and Mana Pools Antipoaching Operations Centre, in Mana Pools National Park.  Balls, pumps and whistles were also donated.

Rangers can now enjoy playing basketball, one of several great team sports to add to volleyball and soccer, already played on home ground whilst based out in the field on antipoaching duties.

Whilst the basketball posts are not yet moveable, this modification will be made as soon as funding allows.
